Kind of a dual system!
Realistic ideas =
1. Almost all Wii U games could be playable on the next console.
2. They may very well drop the game pad! make the console much more powerful and allow it to play all Wii U games while keeping all existing eshop content and expanding it. This keeps Wii u owners happy and feeling a little less betrayed.
3. Allow the N3DS to be used for off screen and remote play. While also letting the n3ds games be played on the TV while connected to the nx. This also ties their markets and brings on board a massive existing group of n3ds owners.
1 outlandish idea = virtual reality......because cartoony vr would be awesome.
2 outlandish idea = Nintendo also recently patented some funky holographic screen that sources from a flat pen like object and shines upward. Meaning the screen can disappear completely, can be flexible in shape and size and would be revolutionary. Just sayin......
3 Outlandish idea = offer something attractive. Something like 5 free games with nx purchase.
