I think there are more positives than negatives with the movie and Disney played it safe by making it A New Hope 2.0. Really my biggest complaint is that I wanted more Poe Dameron because Oscar Isaac is a brilliant character. They were trying hard to push that Rey/Finn chemistry and it wasn't bad, but I feel like he had better chemistry with Han and Poe, but I did think Daisy Ridley was good. Harrison Ford played my two heroes growing up so it was awesome getting to see him shine again and you could tell Abrams is a big Han Solo can too. I'm hoping that they take more risk with Episode 8 and it's something completely different, but I'm glad to have decent Star Wars movies again. I'm a Star Wars nerd and its awesome to see excitement for the movies again. It reminds me of when the originals were re-released in 1997 and Phantom Menace in 1999.
