I say about a 20% boost in hardware sales the first week. Since MGS4 has been the PS3 poster child since the PS3 unveiling I suspect that the hardware boost will be smaller than normal, simply because so many PS3s were already purchased for MGS4.
MGS2 sold about 5.5 million copies
MGS3 sold about 4 million copies
MGS4 will sell 1-1.5 million copies initial week.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
