Yeah, her speech to the little girl really sounded like an outline for a future movie lol... Beatrix wouldn't blame her for growing up with revenge in mind but she'll be ready all the same. Seems like there's potential for it to be of the blood-debt/feud genre, where both characters are forced by circumstance to fight one another, akin to a Greek tragedy or something. The violence just perpetuating itself from one generation to the next. That's a hard movie to make, though (one lacking a true protagonist or antagonist)... It'd almost have to be from the grown up girl's perspective unless her identity is hidden and Beatrix spends much of the movie fighting off assassins or something. Seems to me she'd want to kill Beatrix herself, though. |
But that's the thing. Tarantino can make you a film where it isn't a situation of good versus evil, where the protagonist are our example of who should emerge victorious in evey situation, just like it was in The Hateful Eight, film I watched yesterday.
I could picture Beatrix in a mindset of knowing she also deserves to die for all she's done, just like Bill told her.
I'd love to see what Quentin comes up with.
