I had to watch the 2008 conference just now as I'd never seen it before. God damn it's more awful than I thought it could be! Outside of a real Animal Crossing and actually having some 3rd party support, it was nothing but motion control gimmicks and time wasted on sales and console wars. 2015 atleast had actual games, even if we already knew the existence of most of them, and didn't waste much time inbetween. I would gladly take hearing more about Mario Maker, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, Pokemon, decent new announcements like Triforce Heroes n Paper Jam, and finally seeing Starfox over casual filler. Plus the World Championship was just awesome!

Yeah it did send the message that Nintendo was done with 8th gen, but personally I'm overall satisfied with what they've released and what they have left. I mean the 3DS is pretty stacked, don't think many can complain there. I don't have as much time as I used to so the Wii U's small library doesn't bother me especially when many of it's games can be played for countless hours, but yeah I can definitely understand why others take issue. In hindsight we shoulda expected this with how sales were going, but it can only mean E3 2016 will be epic, hopefully!
