38.5 million WW. I'm confident the worldwide Price cut and Star Wars mania combined with holiday shopping in November, Black Friday sales promos and Christmas propelled sales of PS4 to record growth around the world.
I'm basing this off the fact Sony sold over 1.5 in America alone last month, and with the extended price of $299 till the 19th, mixed with Star Wars bundles flying off shelves from the hype of the movie, another similar figure for December would put ps4 at 3 million sold just from America this holiday, thereby putting their total up to 33.2 million, up from the 30.2 they announced days before Black Friday on November 22.
I believe another 5 million from the rest of the world in late November and all of December combined is doable considering they also received a price cut, not to mention various parts of the world outside of North America have also started getting in on Black Friday as well so who knows how high sells got in those territories.
