I'm fine with Fatal Frame and Xenoblade doing away with fetishistic costumes on underage characters, but to censor adults in bikinis seems silly.

Honestly, I don't get why they didn't just bump up the ages in those 2 games. Bravely Default did it, and there was no problems with it..

Fatal Frame that would have worked with; Miu is 17, so it's not a stretch at all for her to pass as an 18 year old.

XCX is tougher; Lin is very clearly in her early teens.

Well, maybe Lin can just have a baby face? xD I don't think it would be too much of a stretch for an adult to still have a cute face x )

I guess it's simply that girls at around the age of 15 in Japan could be in bikinis without coming off as too weird or innappropriate.
