Meanwhile the PS4 had a hit in Bloodborne and a suprise hit in Until Dawn. Driveclub has been improved a great deal and is now a competent racer (still fked up the launch but they listened to feedback and fixed it), and the PS4 remains the go to platform for anyone into Japanese style game. Overall the PS4 has had a steady stream of exclusive retail games throught the year and was even able to match the X1 line up in the holidays with Japanese support alone. SF5 is landing in Feb with Uncharted 4 dropping a few months later.
I get to enjoy both X1 and PS4 and support the exclusives of both. If I had to pick one though, the PS4 library is clearly better. Thats not to say the X1 has a bad one, but it certainly is not as large or robust as the PS4 offerings in the end |
In the XONE's defense, they are known for releasing everything on the holidays and creating AAAA/S+ games with mammoth budgets over smaller AAA IPs in larger amounts.
After all, with Halo 5 having a movie and Quantum Break its own TV drama, odds are MS is looking more like a film studio than a game developer...
