They shouldn't, especially not now. Their home consoles were just placeholders for their fitting IPs since the N64, and for plebeians who don't game on handhelds. Today they have the ability to make their main games not exclusive to portables, but also on home consoles with the fusion concept. It's the return of the NES and SNES.
