Let assume xb1 exclusives sales suffer because there are too many games to choose from on the holidays, whose fault is that? IMO MS for not spreding out their exclusives during the year and instead they released all of them for the holiday period. Everyone want to look at TR sales but not only that game sales suffer, forza 6 as well as halo 5 sold way below expectations. If MS strategies was to pack a bunch of exclusives in the holiday period to make irresistible a xb1 purchase then it definitely backfired. It's pretty hard to digest that AC syndicate is selling better on xb1 than TR without any marketing deal/no bundle and after suffering franchise fatigue. |
Well AC is a slighly bigger and better known franchise plus the last game was bundled to death on the X1 last year. So its really no suprise that Syndicate is selling slightly better then Rise of the Tomb Raider on the X1.
