| LudicrousSpeed said: Man the AFC is not very good. None of the division winners are particularly scary right now, thanks mostly to injury. Meanwhile the Cardinals look pretty much unbeatable and Carolina looks good too. Not sold on the Panthers yet, though. Vikings are solid too, and I bet the Skins could surprise someone at home in the WC round. Strangely in the AFC it seems the potential WC teams are the most dangerous. I guarantee every single division winner is hoping Pittsburgh doesn't make it in. |
As a Patriots' fan, I really couldn't care less if Pittsburgh makes it in. I don't think I'd be any more scared of playing them at home than I would, say, the Jets (not sure about Chiefs, haven't watched them much this season...or at all, really). Offense is definitely scary when Roethlisberger doesn't just decide to take the day off, but the defense is awful, and, perhaps more than anything else, and while they're usually quite good at home (6-1 this season), they've been pretty average on the road (3-4), with extremely lackluster performances against the Ravens, Rams, and Chiefs (before they were good). Pittsburgh's been hit or miss, and while they're a good team when they can get things going, the same can be said for anyone who makes it to the playoffs.
(unless you're one of THOSE division winners)
