I wouldn't mind a site like IGN giving a 10/10 or even gametrailers because they are so very rare, but when sites like gamespy and xplay doll it out every week, kind of loses it's meaning. But, I do believe there are a few games out there that deserve a 10/10, but it would have to be such a ground breaking game that it's flaws are nothing in comparison (OoT certainly achieves that and Mario 64 is pretty damn close to it). I think it'll hit about 94% average on gamerankings when all the reviews are done. |
AC got 8/10 from the mag due to repetitive missions.
They only give integers, so 10/10 does not mean perfection, it means >9.5/10
