They got a legitimate win because people who purchased one thought the games they could buy were better than what was on offer from another console.

It's all subjective... what isnt is which console is selling better... so thus to more people it's the better console.

I dont want to do list wars, but I purchased lots of third parties at xmas, but through out the year PS4 had more games and a much better variety. Just like the saying.... "A console isnt just for Xmas" ;)

 

 


The Playstation is selling well because its the most popular console. Everyones friend has it so they will buy it regardless of exclusives just like the 360 last gen. The runner up tends to work harder, much like Sony did last gen when they drowned the 360 in exclusives post 2008. Of course, Microsoft's internal first party isn't as good as Sony, but they secured a lot of quality titles that deserve mention.
