Given the japanese economy rebound since last gen i think we can expect a lot more then the last gen. I mean they might already release more AAA games in 2016 and 2017 then they did between 2006(edit : more like 2007) and 2010, given all their recent announcements.
With 2 new more Final Fantasy directors this gen (Nomura and Tabata) we can expect another team working on next-gen while smaller ones take care of FFXV sequels (built on the luminous engine) and a couple other new and exciting projects.
