but the rumors of a Johto Remake, FFVI Remake & maybe even this Pokemon Platinum may make me buy the DS..

I would rather have an FFVI remake for the wii , but ds is welcome to get it too. If you like FFIV they are remaking that, and will most likely remake FFV.  The ds is also getting alot of old school rpgs. There is this one game that looks promising. It looks like chrono trigger with a different story and better graphics. It's made by a western developer too. The ds lineup is wonderful if you are an rpg fan.
