Nintendo To Unveil the NX at CES 2016 in Las Vegas in January- Article says as if fact, but I am skeptical

Well, Nintendo did the same with the Wii U back in 2012 and CES .. I guess this time it is true too. Also their source is the same that "revealed" it when Wii U was meant to be shown to invited people at CES in 2012.
