Why?

Its not the art style that is being changed, it's the graphics, things like texture resolution, geometry, animations, lighting and shadowing.

Chances are they will. Some art styles can't look nice in hd unless they are changed drastically. Anyways this is besides the point. We are getting off topic, and I don't feel like discussing it anymore.
