Yes, the Wii is competing with the 360 and PS3, and it's easy to prove it

I'll stick within things I've seen or heard.

1. The Wii is having a positive effect on gaming solely because peopl who never bought one before have been consideirng buying a gaming console. Like my friends mom, my co workers wife, my friend (who quit gaming) and so on.

2. People online seem to love or hate it, why I don't know.

3. People who have something against it, always float back to the point of familiarity, ie games they know others have said are good.
