That said, VGChartz has ZombU pinned at 0.93 million right now and I do believe that it will cross 1 million before the Wii U's life is over.  The fact that ZombiU can't be profitable with those sorts of sales blows my mind.   I started out as an N64 gamer and back then a million-selling game got recognition and a big price cut for those kinds of sales.  I honestly don't know about the gaming industry anymore...



Big games today need at least 5 million, or even 10 million, to be profitable. However ZombiU didn't seem to be a particularly high budget game.

I understand if Minecraft on the Wii U didn't use the gamepad if it was released years ago, but when it's so late, you better put some effort.



 

keep in mind the game had some hype, was bundled in Europe, and also how much of those sales were at even close to full price? Looking at Ubi's history they expected it to sell much better.
