I'm not disputing what you're saying and thank you for the article.

That said, VGChartz has ZombU pinned at 0.93 million right now and I do believe that it will cross 1 million before the Wii U's life is over.  The fact that ZombiU can't be profitable with those sorts of sales blows my mind.   I started out as an N64 gamer and back then a million-selling game got recognition and a big price cut for those kinds of sales.  I honestly don't know about the gaming industry anymore...



Yea, well unfortunately the gaming industry doesn't work like that anymore. 1 million doesn't guarantee profit anymore. The Tomb Raider reboot sold 3.4 million in its first month, and that was considered underperformed. An extreme example perhaps, but still. The AA industry is a hell of a lot weaker nowadays. Most notable releases nowadays are either indie or AAA.
