I didn't like it either. For an action film I found it quite boring and altho I think that the woman who plays Rey is a great actress I felt like the others were not.
I'm not a Star Wars super fan or anything, I've only watched the original trilogy once years ago and even to me the whole plot of the new movie seemed like a copy and paste of the first ones but with a female Luke now, it was just very lazy imo.
And was I supposed to care about the black guy? coz the only character interesting for me was Rey and to some extent the Darth Vader wannabe.
