I've watched a total of maybe 3 of these? They all have a similar pattern and you can make easy assumptions on who will win and lose. The explanations and history are more justifications as to why their favorite character would win vs. taking all of the character into consideration. I don't get bent out of shape about it. I just don't watch it.

Yeah, no. If you've only watched 3, then you can't make any assumptions. They hate Superman, yet he won twice against Goku. FInal Fantasy 7 is one of their top ten JRPGs. I can make so many more examples.
