The gamepad is there should devs choose to implement it, but it should not be compulsory. I dont like Minecraft but im thrilled there is a popular 3rd party game on Wii U, it sends out a strong message, especially if it sells well. People should be happy the game is there instead of complaining, if you are a minecraft fan and own a Wii U only then support it.
