That would have been a decent strategy at launch but nobody cares about the Wii U right now third party wise. I bet Nintendo paid MS to get Minecraft on Wii U. The gamepad is a great idea, but it's heavily underutilized. And to be quite frank, there's little incentive besides a second screen that can act as additional information or a third party TV screen. Aonuma promised that Zelda U would use it to its full potential but so little of Zelda U has been seen...in 4 years.
