Its worse than the Witcher 3 text but its far from unplayable. The menus look bland as fuck tough, stuf on the 90s had better looking menu, its text on a black screen basicaly, on considering the game has layers of menus inside menus they should have made them look nice.
The super repetitive quests and the completly expression dead characters are much bigger issue, this game would have fared so much better on PC, XOne and/or PS4, its noticeable how many corners Monolith soft had to cut to make this work on the WiiU.
