Ye hes like 20 years old isnt he, all he had was training. Ppl say the sanitation thing to imply he couldnt knwo how to fight for lack of training, when it was not at all liek that. He was an everyday stormtrooper training and getting brainshawed, whose job during the Starkiller Base construction was to work in sanitation. The way the 1st order threats the stormtroopers theyre basicaly theyre slaves, they dont even have names, so they train and do whatever its asked of them until theyre ready for combat, Finn was ready for combat but the brainwashing didnt quite work.
