Nah, at least half of them are important to the series in their own  way. 

 

Marth: Poster Child of the series (The Ness/Link of the franchise) 

Ike: Is the western rep of the franchise and reps the games for home consoles (and be was in 2 ssb games) 

Lucina/Robin: Probably even more popular than both above now. They are the characters that saved once thought dying franchise. 

 

That said FE is now amongst the most popular IP in Japan (top 30?) and for Nintendo top 10 now. That means something. 

 

BTW, I do agree we need reps for other franchises more than FE for sure. Zelda/DK/Metroid deserve it wayyyyyy more

 

Yet you disagree with me months ago saying FE deserved more than Zelda.
