Smash 4 is not the FF VII as I dont think FF VII is the best in that series. Smash 4 set the standards high so in a broader audience, I think it tops Smash Melee.
on the competitive scene, i believe it should just be Smash 4 now, Melee should be dropped. Other fighting games like SF, Tekken, etc. they normally use the latest game for tournaments, so what's with Melee.
I know there are those top 4 players in Melee, they should really jump to Smash 4 and prove that a different meta in HD, they can perform on a top level.
