As someone who loves Bayonetta 2 to bits and considers it the best game of the current gen, I actually think its a little bit overrated graphically.
Yeah, it has some truly spectacular setpieces, (the fight against Gomorrah on the Empire State Building comes to mind) but textures are a mixed bag, and while it's not so much a problem during gameplay due to the fast pace, the slower moving cutscenes have a lot of really distracting pixel crawl.
It's still a handsome game by and large, but I wouldn't rank it as one of the system's graphical best.
