And that is why they are getting slaughtered in sales this generation.

They slatured because huge mistakes they made with consoles, not with games. Games are great and they are selling phenomenal regardless instal base.

Software sells hardware. Wii U's failure is what happens when you ignore the gaming mainstream, which is now on PS4/Xbox One.
