1. The Last of Us: This game shook me to my core. Every single character introduced, I personally cared for and struggled to continue as this game became more brutal and desperate. I was close to tears quite a few times and it took story telling in games to a whole new level.

2. Mass Effect 3 - While I loved Mass Effect 2, The improvements in ME3 along with having played it after the changes to the ending were made, this game truly left me feeling empty and hungry for more. I was lost for the next 2 days wanting to experience more in this universe.

3. Fallout New Vegas: Another game I lost countless hours on. While the location is somewhat lifeless, the different stories, companions and people you met a long the way are memorable. I felt like I really was playing the type of character I would be in this world. On a side note, Dead Money was probably the best piece of DLC I've ever played, still love it to this day.

4. Uncharted 2: A fantastic adventure from start to finish, with some of the greatest action and set pieces in any game to date. Great characters, enthralling story and a great multiplayer to boot, this game remains king of the action adventure games.

5. Dead Island: While this game will catch a lot of flack for being broken or bad acting/animations and countless other things, I had a ton of fun with this game. I found myself lost for hours just wondering around and bashing zombies galore. Certainly, a guilt-pleasure kind of classic to me.
