Yeah I think Nintendo will have a NX conference in Feb/March so no need for a GDC booth.

They will wait until the fiscal year is just about over to minimize damage done to 3DS and Wii U sales for the fiscal year which are already in delicate shape.

       hahaha

Excuse me... But for god's sake...

Thank you for amusing me!

So many gens of home and handheld consoles all justifiably disclosed at an E3... And Nintendo suddenly will hold  a random conference in spring to present NX, (till march is still FY15) ! Daydream/Wishful thinking?

Nintendo 64 (Ultra) unveil:

Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo Ultra 64 (later N64) in 1995 at the Nintendo Space World Software Exhibition in Japan.

The completed Nintendo 64 was fully unveiled to the public in a playable form on November 24, 1995, at the 7th Annual Shoshinkai Software Exhibition in Japan. Nintendo's next-generation console was introduced as the "Nintendo 64" (a name given by Shigesato Itoi,[27]), contrary to speculation that it would be called "Nintendo Ultra 64".
