Best Zelda game to start with Zelda franchise for people that didnt play any Zelda

I'd go with either A Link to the Past or A Link Between Worlds as a starting point. Just because the 2D Zelda games are easier and more simple to get into and understand than the 3D Zelda games, which are an entirely different species all together. Even Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword I'd say would be difficult for casual gamers to get into.
