Imo, MK shouldn't even be considered because it's a seperate genre. GT and Forza are racing sims. Mario Kart is car combat/arcade racing. Comparing MK and GT is like comparing NBA Jam and NBA 2k16. It's just silly.

 

I'd say it's more like comparing Fifa and Rocket League.
