It's just by your wording: "Quantum Break, Scalebound, Gears of War 4, Killer Instinct: Season 3 & Forza Horizon and more will be dropping for Microsoft next year. Sony has Street Fighter 5, Uncharted, Horizon and a couple of other games but nothing substantial." As if Sony "has a couple games, but nothing substantial", while your wording for MS is "has Gears, Forza and more." Just the way it's portrayed, it really seems to make it sound like MS has a substantial upper hand with games next year. Which by the vast majority of metrics, is most likely very far from the truth. Sales: Uncharted 4, Gran Turismo, are gigantic. Halo has had gigantic drops and quite frankly at this point, I would not be surprised if Uncharted 4 sold far better. This means that in sales, PS is now very far ahead. These two games could likely sell pretty close to the same amount that the entire list you have for Xbox games. QB could very well sell a couple million. Scalebound might not sell well. Forza next year will be the fourth title on Xbox One. Could sell a couple million, but might sell less due to fatigue. Gears has the potential to sell a great number, very well could be 4m or higher. Uncharted could very well sell 6m. Gran Turismo has a habit of selling 8m+. Horizon very much depends on how well it is received, there's a gigantic amount of excitement for it though. Critically. Uncharted even at it's worst has been incredibly well recieved. Gears has as well, but there's an issue with the upcoming Gears. It's a new developer, which could do amazing things, or it could do awful things. |
I said both will be even from the start in terms of AAA's was my point, but Microsoft is still remaining fierce with their AAA's. Outside of that Sony is decimating them. Again, I am only saying non-AAA's are nonsubstantial. We've also got to stop with the numbers next year. Uncharted and Gears will both sell but at the same time its a greatyear for new IPs from both companies. In truth, thats what its all about in my eyes. What makes Sony stand out to me is their dedication to new IP's and Microsoft is really pushing Quantum Break, so I cant wait.
