NO SHIT!

It would be cool, though. I think it would sold better on the WiiU. I'm not tring to star a console wars, just talking about profitability. Most of that Rare masterpieces were released on Nintendo consoles.

6 of the 30 games in this collection were Xbox 360 games, there is no real way that they would sink the amount of money and resources into creating an emulator for the X360 on the Wii-U while they're focusing so much currently on bringing as many of the X360 games as possible onto the X1's hardware... which is significantly more powerful than the Wii-U, Equally not trying to create console wars between the 2 here, just saying in terms of Time/Energy:Payback this wouldn't work out well, I'm guessing you might have been just thinking of the rare replay box as a group of the older gen Nintendo based Rare titles but yeah, lots of more powerful stuff on there too, even grabbed by the ghoulies from the original Xbox!

Also for those not in the know, That replay collection contains 30 games for €30 it's the biggest steal in gaming history for the price it's at.

Yeah, fair enough. I was talking more about the number of units sold than actual profitability. I sincerely think that collection could sell very well on the WiiU. Lots of Ninty fans are still in the WiiU bandwagon, and Rare's era in Nintendo was, by far, the most succesful in the quality of their games. Maybe I'm wrong, that wouldn't be the first time. Well, one thing is for sure, the idea of Rare Replay coming to the WiiU was ridiculous in the first place.

Yeah, maybe in some alternate future we might see first party stuff coming cross platform, but wont be for some time I would wager.

Keep in mind when it comes to the Nintendo fans who liked Rare games, the last Console that had Rare games for it was Banjo-Tooie and Conkers bad fur day on the N64 so throughout the GC-Wii-Wiiu generation I think a lot has changed, also to be fair to the newer game devs out there now, while Rare were amazing at the time, Rares quality recently has been.... less than stellar and I think most 3rd party groups could easily outshine the stuff they put out back on the SNES/N64 era, heck a 3d platformer like DK64 isn't really AAA+ title anymore, get stuff like that from Kickstarter with Yooka Laylee coming out in the next year or 2.

Was a shame that they didn't get to do work with Killer Instinct on the X1 that woulda been good if not even just to see their logo at the start, maybe with a robot voice of Coming to Ultra 128 this winter on it heh. Man... I miss 90s rare.
