The requiered add on was already on the market, for cheap, alongside the special bundle and the 30M Wii Remotes with Motion Plus sold years before with Wii Sports Resorts. On top of that, TP being a launch game with a 0 installbase while SS had already 80-90M potential costumers. And TWW was far from being a success or NIntendo would have never asked for Twilight Princess.

How many Zelda fans already had a WMP? Are you claiming everyone who bought WSR is part of the Zelda fanbase because that is simply untrue, again it's a flimsy argument you have here, SS required an add on and still went on to sell 4m and for reference Red Steel 2 another game that required the same add only sold around 600k, no matter what spin you try that flat out destroys your claim here, TP didn't require any add on and was one of 3 launch titles, one of which was Red Steel the other was packed with the console. TWW sold around 5m, stop this silly game as these numbers prove your claim wrong.

Are the all early Wii customers Zelda fans? No. Then your point is useless.

6 The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker GC 2002 Action Nintendo 2.60 0.99 0.89 0.13 4.60

And this are VGChartz numbers. So, once again, because of this Nintendo asked for Twilight Princess.
