Why you should play PS2 classics on PC

And we all know that almost everyone who uses emulators are stealing the games via torrents. Trying to argue otherwise is just foolish and insulting. 

Except then for many users that means Rooting their PS2's out from storage boxes, keeping it plugged in, keeping all your games near by if you want to play them, getting up changing discs etc.

For someone like me its much easier just to rip my discs to a hdd set up PCSX 2 for each game, add that game then to steam and just play it whenever i want after that. The first investment of setting the games up and ripping them is mostly the longest part of the whole process but then once they are up and running it makes it much easier and quicker then setting up the PS2 everytime you want to play one of them games.

And its insulting for you to assume that everyone that uses emulation does so for Piracy simply just cos they can. Do you assume everyone does the same thing with every console thats ever been cracked to play pirate games?, Do you assume that most users from all the gens before this one where pirates who never used to buy PS3 or X360 games etc, and will you also assume that once the X1 and PS4 are hacked that every user will then become pirates just cos they can, and that every topic about PS4 or X1 should then turn into topics complaining about Piracy??.

IF your answer is no to any of them questions then you should stop assuming the same thing about every PC users..

It's still easier to leave a PS2 hooked up and just play the damn games on the console and my answer to all those questions is basically that the majority of people who use emulators are thieves and cheapskates who don't want to buy the actual games. There are always variables.
