Yes of course.
-Call of Duty 4 really got me into Paintball. One of the reasons I miss my home back in Northern Canada! Nothing compared to running around in the bush with your friends pretending you were in Russia. Fun times :')
-Assassin's Creed, God of War and Uncharted helped bolster my interest in History. The games themselves are works of fiction based loosely upon Historical happenings, but the architecture and "clue-hunt" feel was exciting. I still get that feeling sometimes when doing research.
-Badass fighters/warriors like Kratos and Snake are part of my motivation for lifting weights
-Final Fantasy X was an interesting take on Western Religion. I took a World Religions class about 2 weeks after finishing FFX, and it was cool making comparisons between the game and the religions we studied. Lots of symoblism and such
