True, but even if it had what Tim Schaefer, the creator of Unreal Engine, wanted a 2.5 Tflops GPU - in reality it wouldn't appear that much different.  GPU power is, like sound powered speakers, you have to double your power to make much of a noticible differance.  The original Xbox's GPU was 2.5 times more powerful than the PS2, but did most games look that much different?  (And the GameCube was almost as powerful as the Xbox - did GameCube games look better than PS1 games?)

DirectX 12 should help.  It has shown some signifiant improvements on old DirectX 11 cards, and we still don't have any native DirectX 12 Xbox One games yet.





 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
