Its mainly for the same reason the Xbox doesnt do well. Playstation sponsored the Champions league for many years and had 2 very sucessful systems and didnt abandon the 3rd one. Their brand has mixed in with the culture here. To have a videogames console is to have a playstation.
I do agree though. NoE does a good job. Also, when they have a sale, the sale is up in the morning (if not midnight), when SCEE does a sale, it isnt until after noon that it comes up in the store.
