Why not? Captain Toad was a $40 game and it looks far more attractive and not "cheap" at all.

Because Nintendo is investing lota time and effort in development of this game, its not like other game that I mentioned that are basically developed in few months, game that running on two screens with different views and 60fps definitely isn't cheap.

Toad It's cheap because it's rip off from Mario 3D World and have very small content and replayability. There is reason why Nintendo priced at $40.
