'Best' is a completely subjective notion that essentially amounts to an individual opinion, unless you're quantifying best in terms of either critical acclaim or sales popularity.

Claiming that Zelda is still one of the best franchise in history is completely objective. How many other franchase you have that have very high quality games for 30th years!? Not many definitely, Metal Gear get first high quality game on PS1, and Final Fantasy didnt have every game high quality.
