A) Is almost certin (like for any prvious 3D Zelda game). B) Hype/awareness, are also there.TLOU is released only on PS3 but whole game in community (PC and console gaming) were aware of about that game. Hype is also there, after every little new Zelda U info immediately you have thousands and posts and threads about just that little info, and almost every gaming media having news about just that little new Zelda U info. C) If Zelda U is relly Ultimate Zelda and of the best 3D Zelda games, cultural impact will definatly be there also. |
(B) Between PS3 and now PS4, a vastly larger audience had access to TLOU. There are over 80 million PS3 owners, Wii U will be lucky to reach 15 million.
(C) TLOU had the impact it did because it was the embodiment of everything that the modern gaming mainstream is obsessed with; it was "hardcore", realistic, cinematic, story-driven, dark, gritty, and violent.
Zelda U does not have this kind of appeal.
