It may not be your thing, or my thing, or anyone else thing, but it's not being awful, it's receiving the best incentives VR always showed to have.
Also, as already mentioned, your experience here and using one is totally different, so even your personal perception may not have been true to what you could have also be thinking about how VR is to you or not.

 

Obviously its my opinion, its my opinion that everything about it looks awful so far. Just like you're free to think it looks great or really interesting as well,nothing wrong with that, just different stroke for different folks :O
