Let me throw out a number that might surprise you. So far, on a global basis, Nintendo 3DS has sold more hardware than PS4 and Xbox One—combined. Most people find this shocking. |
Abbath, may I ask you to change the title of your thread? Thread title reads:
Nintendo America: 3DS here to stay selling more than PS4/Xbone combined
which implies NoA says that the 3DS will continue outselling both PS4 and X1 combined which could not be further from the truth. Thankfully, NoA has not said such a thing according to your linked article. In the opening post, the quote you extract from said article says something else entirely, namely that "Nintendo 3DS is here to stay." period. "So far, on a global basis, Nintendo 3DS has sold more hardware than PS4 and Xbox One—combined".
It should be made clear that:
"3DS here to stay selling more than PS4/Xbone combined"
and
"Nintendo 3DS is here to stay. ... So far, on a global basis, Nintendo 3DS has sold more hardware than PS4 and Xbox One—combined."
have two different meanings.
Your thread title is misleading, to say the least.
