I remember I was a HUGH X-Men fan back in the late 80s and early 90s. In fact, I was a bigger fan or the original team. So I was pretty excited when I heard Marvel was going to bring back the original five characters in its own series called the X-Factor. Before I sold them to a friend, I had the first 75 issues of the X-Factor, including multiple copies of several special issues. Of course I recall the first appearance of Apocalypse in these pages. Now, enter the X-Men movies. I've never seen and smelled such a pile of steaming crap that did little to no justice to the original source material. I NEVER expected a cinematic production to mirror its original printed source to the "T." But the X-Men films were just plain wrong, and just the movies themselves leave me with no emotional attachment to make the entertainment investment worth my dollar. Pass.
