| Cloudman said: I do have to give props to Sony for pursuing VR. It is new technology with potential to bring new ways not just to play, but to experience new worlds, and other various usages. Microsoft is already following behind, and Ninten may jump in as well, when they find a unique and interesting way to enjoy VR. However, in its current form, I am not so interested in it myself. It looks awkward and rather unenjoyable. I don't agree that this will immerse me into this virtual world. The need for a controller in my hand wouldn't pull me in, but take me out of it, as I am playing a game in a fake world with a TV screen, but all around me. Also, being unable to move in this world free, would also break that immersion. I probably wouldn't really enjoy it myself. I can immerse myself into a game without this form of VR. This could become mainstream. Only time will tell, but personally, I wouldn't be interested in it. |
I am going to guess you have yet to try OR or PSVR. I have had some very sceptical/cynical friends, that changed their mind completely once they actually tried one or the other.
VR takes games using DS4 to the next level. VR with motion controllers is a whole new experience, that is beyond films or games. We are talking about a new form of entertainment, a new form of productivity in the virtual space, a whole new world to explore that offers possabilities we have not even thought of yet. VR takes the shackles off creativity, and virtually anything becomes possible.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
