Come on, did anyone here seriously not expect this?

Both games look fantastic, despite their obvious doctoring of the Gears shots. From a certain point of view (and this is coming from a Gears fanatic), I could see how some would find Resistance 2 somewhat better (seemingly better lighting shadow effects, since Gears is taking place in an extremely well-lit canyon, and a few other things). But Gears also has advantages, such as rendering a much bigger environment with the game rendering dozens if not hundreds of enemies (granted, it's on-rails and they may not be as detailed as regular enemies up close).

We also need to take into account that Killzone has had FOUR YEARS(!) of development time vs. Gears' one.

Question: Do we know anything about the framerate for either game? Gears looked like 60 to me, but I could be wrong, and I haven't watched the Killzone one yet.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
