The game brought a very "stuffy" story with it. In the past FF games had a lot of over the top emotional scenes. FF8 was very unemotional, it was hard to relate with Squall which made the game hard to play. He was a character with no real drive.
FF8 was still better then FF10 IMO. I couldn't even finish #10 due to it's horrible random battle system. That and the voice overs that made me want to rip off my ears.
FF went downhill from FFVI. FFIV-FFVI are the best in the series.
Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
